Meet the founders

Chris Johnson
∙ Creative Director

Originally from Sydney, Chris has spent over a decade building brands at leading international agencies. He's worked with global clients including Amazon, Diageo and Logitech, and played a key role in shaping the identities of major London developments such as Bankside Yards and Battersea Power Station. With a strategic mindset and a passion for digital innovation, Chris brings sharp thinking and a future-focused approach to every Studio Glass project.

Sammy Murphy
∙ Creative Director

Originally from London, Sammy specialises in branding, publishing and placemaking. With over a decade of industry experience, she's worked across design agencies and in-house publishing teams, collaborating with brands including Aman, BBC, Hammerson, Native Land and The Sunday Times. She's also the founder of Pier Journal, a creative culture magazine. At Studio Glass, Sammy builds brands grounded in authenticity, meaning and purpose.

Our approach

We partner with clients to provide design solutions that drive real change. Here's how we work:

01   Discover

We start with a two-hour workshop to understand your goals, challenges and vision; defining the foundation for your brand and a clear brief.

02   Define

From the workshop insights, we create narrative frameworks and supporting mood boards to establish tone, personality and visual direction.

03   Design

With direction set, we bring ideas to life through distinct brand concepts, showing how your brand works across real-world and digital touchpoints.

04   Deliver

Once finalised, we produce all deliverables and guidelines to ensure consistency and flexibility, creating work built to evolve with your brand.
